FAQ

How do I convert HEIC to JPG?+
Drop the HEIC files on the box above and choose JPG. They are decoded and converted in your browser, then you can download them one at a time or all together. Nothing is uploaded.
Why does my iPhone save photos as HEIC?+
HEIC stores the same quality in roughly half the space of JPG. Many websites and Windows apps still do not open it, which is why converting is so common. You can also change the camera setting to Most Compatible to shoot JPG.
Is WebP better than JPG?+
For websites, usually: WebP is 25 to 35 percent smaller at the same quality and supports transparency. Use JPG when an app or platform does not accept WebP.
Will converting reduce quality?+
Converting to PNG is lossless. JPG and WebP use the quality slider; 90 percent is visually identical to the original for nearly all images.
Are my files uploaded?+
No. Every conversion happens on your device. The HEIC decoder is downloaded to your browser the first time you convert a HEIC file.
